My name is Giovanni Collazo. I’m a software developer, user experience designer and web application security enthusiast from San Juan, Puerto Rico, where I live with my wife, our three kids and our dog Paco.
I’ve been writing software since 1998, but have also worked as a photographer, video editor, motion graphics designer and user experience designer.
On 2011, I co-founded Blimp. At Blimp we designed and built apps for our super smart, cool and beautiful clients.
On 2015, I started working on Gasolina Móvil a mobile app that allows consumers to pay at the pump using their phones. This app later became the first product of Alias Payments, a company I also co-founded.
Currently, I’m in charge of product at Alias, where I lead a very talented and smart team.
On this site I try to share things that I want to remember and reference later. Posts are in English and Spanish. Here are a few of the most popular ones:
- ¿Quieres aprender a programar? Empieza aquí
- Sobre como ser mejor developer
- Bug en el app CESCO Digital
- The security footgun in etcd
- Podcasts I like
